The Future of the Search for Alien Life Is with Harvard’s Avi Loeb. He Has Plenty of Critics. The Chicago Tribune
It's news when this newspaper covers UFOs, although it's in the Entertainment section and the writer compares Avi Loeb to a cross between "the severely etched [J. Robert] Oppenheimer and the anxious, chain-smoking lawyer Martin Short played years ago on 'Saturay Night Live.'" But Christopher Borrelli's piece on the controversial Harvard astrophysicist, with a dash of journalist-author Garrett Graff thrown in, is a serious, straightforward, perceptive "mainstream media" treatment. And the search for a UFO answer more and more likely will come from elsewhere than government institutions such as Loeb's The Galileo Project. Indeed, John Greenwald reports another FOIA Request for Access to UFO Whistleblower Documents Denied by Intelligence Agency. John has already appealed the rejection. So, Will Private Contractor Whistleblowers Come Forward?, asks Danny Silva? Perhaps it's no mere coincidence that That UFO Podcast co-host's Dan Zetterström's originating tweet features actor Robert Downey Jr.'s answer. The Silva Record site also features McCasland by @Jay09784691, an article probing the connections of the rather shadowy Neil McCasland, and their implications for information on efforts to track "Uncorrelated Targets" (UCTs) in space. And Miguel ("Red Pill Junkie") Romero has latched onto one of the most significant yet underplayed UFO stories of 2023 in UFO's, AI and the ELIZA Effect. And RPJ's conclusion about UFO knowledge—with thanks to Jeff Knox and Theo Paijmans—evokes both Avi Loeb and "Hollywood" in questioning "our own twisted reflections." (WM)
