    Nicely boxed and easy to use. The only downside I am finding right now is that the antenna picks up so many stations, even in AM mode (forget using FM mode) , that there isnt enough “white noise” to come through. There is no pause between stations. I do not have the antenna extended at all, and I actually read that people are removing the antenna all together. I personally feel that I should not have to pay $100 just to take something apart in order to have it do the job correctly. Im not completely displeased, as I do like the “record” feature and the sweep speed does go a little faster than some others. I have not used it enough to drain the battery (I get frustrated with the constant radio stations), so I cannot honestly answer the “battery life” question. I will continue playing with it and see what happens. If someone comes through and gives me winning lottery numbers, then totally worth the money and beer and pizza are on me!!

    I’m glad I purchased this instead of other spirit boxes. It is very easy to use and has a loud speaker. It’s perfect sized for portability. Performs well and only thing missing is being able to adjust noise but I highly recommend.

    I used it my 1st and did a sweep on the am frequency. It really worked, they do respond to what you say. Just listen carefully and you’ll here from letters to words, sometimes the frequency stops at one for 2-3 sec or it just zooms threw the am frequency.Next time I’m recording with my headphones on.

    Works poorly, it is an expensive novelty item. Do not waste your money!
