I had a pretty strange experience on a MTB bike ride and wanted to share it. I don’t want to drag it out too much so I’ll do my best. Keep in mind this ride was maybe 20 minutes in when it happened, it’s an E-bike so the majority of the pedaling was assisted and even so there were not many instances in which I needed any of the assistance as it was mainly a flat single track. The elevation wasn’t too much of a gain from I recall and I had little to no need for water . The only reason I’m sharing this information is to maybe eliminate the possibility of dehydration, fatigue, or elevation gain.
I remember turning a corner and bringing my eyes up from looking ahead at my path when I noticed EVERYTHING around me was moving. It looked like a pulsating motion it’s a bit hard to explain. Before I even moved I looked around to see wth was going on and it was all still doing the same thing. It never stopped as I sat there for a bout 5 minutes until I decided to head off. No other parts of the trails did it and I never experienced anything like that in my life.
