Tales from a haunted apartment/u/kaaatea

I've been wanting to post in this sub for quite some time, and figured I would finally get around to posting one of my harder to explain experiences. I've been experiencing paranormal occurrences since I was 7, and while most things were still absolutely weird and almost impossible, they were also theoretically explained by SOMETHING, however unlikely. But a few occurrences were completely impossible, and this is the story of one of those occurrences.

It was a Saturday in 2015, I was in my early 20s, and my boyfriend (now husband) was at work. Saturdays were always my cleaning days, before he got off and we relaxed for the weekend. I was washing dishes, at the sink next to the stove, separated by a small section of countertop. I would line up the dishes I would wash in order on the stove top ( this is relevant), and had a spatula up against the back of the stove just under the dials.

A rerun of Dr Phil was on, I would go watch between commercials and return to dish washing during commercial breaks. The only other living thing in that apartment with me was my cat, Lulu. Lu was perched beside the open window in the living room, snoozing. I hear the show come back on, and race back to the living room. As I'm standing there watching, I hear a clatter of plastic hit my fridge, then a second clatter as whatever it is hits the floor. Going back into the kitchen, I see the spatula that had been against the back of the stove laying in front of the fridge.

The fridge was directly across from the stove, about 3-4 feet away. When I heard the spatula hit, it sounded like it had hit pretty high up on the fridge, maybe around the freezer area. I've spent 8 years trying to figure out how the hell a plastic spatula could spontaneously launch 4 feet across the room and have come up with nothing. There have been other weird ass things happen in this apartment.

If you can debunk this, please do! I've never experienced anything paranormal with that kind of force! I may eventually post the other completely unexplainable experience I had, as someone else saw it with me and it ended up being a message, if ya'll are interested.
