Can I find who died here easily?/u/kitom_neko

So my house is something like 180 to 200 years old. I'm in Iowa living in a "founders" house meaning it's one of the early settlers homes for the area. Really all this means to me is I don't get a basement I have a dirt hole my water purif6lives in and my house is weird angles if we have to do anything like replace or dismantle a wall.

My question is this, weird stuff happens and my cats do weird things on occasion, we always joke "oops ghost moment!" Especially when we smell weird stuff we can't locate (usually it's a cooking meat like BBQ or smoked beef smell in dead winter) but anyways my big question is this;

How can I find who died within the home and when? I've tried some websites but nothing malicious happened here as far as we can find, no meth labs, no murders, no fires, ECT Anyone have suggestions where I can find more information on my home?
