So I was woken up by my wife to a “thud…thud…thud…thud thud….thud…thud and continued lasted for about 15 seconds. So my first thought was “oh shit someone’s breaking into my from down down stairs. Once I left my room which is 5’ from the top of my stairs and got to the top of the stairs it stop. Mind you I have two little ankle bitters down stairs in their crate and they did not bark at all(and they bark at everything). After I grabbed my gun I cleared my house and nothing seem disturbed and all my doors were locked. I do have a front door bell camera and nothing showed up. We also recently moved into this house may of this year. The house was built in 1986. So possible answers
Someone was trying to get into the house from the back doors? And for some reason my dogs didn’t bark(no camera on the back side of the house yet and installing some tomorrow)
It’s been here the whole time but what changed?
Someone brought it into my house.
Had goosebumps the entire time I wrote this.
