My girlfriend and I were out of town for a week. When we leave for extended periods of time we do multiple rounds to make sure everything is turned off and unplugged if necessary.
We arrived back home earlier this home to find one of the lamps turned on. This lamp is only activated either by app (it’s a smart LED lightbulb) or via foot switch. It wasn’t our pet as they came with us, and no one that we know of stopped by the apartment. Nothing else is out of place or stolen.
We’re completely stumped. Even in daylight the light was very noticeable; we would have noticed if it was switched on prior to us leaving. Nothing else we left plugged in was turned on, at least as far as we could tell.
Am important note: It’s well accepted that our neighborhood/city is haunted. We’ve had some unexplainable instances in the apartment since moving in last year and this only adds to the weirdness.
Any thoughts on what this may mean?
