Rocking bottles: I’ve tried to logically explain it./u/SweetTeaMama4Life

This happened over 15 years ago. I’ve tried to logically explain to myself how it happened, but I can’t.

I was a college student studying on my bed at home. I hear a sudden noise and look over at my dresser. ( I used to collect old glass Coke bottles and filled them with colorful water to display. I had one of them on my stereo speakers on my dresser.) The coke bottle on my dresser was starting to rock back and forth. It slowly got faster and was kind of circling around like it was going to topple over but it never did. It then just suddenly wobbled to a stop. I consider myself a logical person and immediately tried to explain it away. Earthquake? No nothing else moved. The colorful water in the other bottles around my room were not moving. I fell asleep for a second? No, I was definitely awake now and the water in the bottle that moved was still swaying back and forth. The speaker made some kind of vibration only effecting the one bottle? No, The whole stereo is turned off. And the other speaker also had a bottle and it hadn’t moved and the water in it was perfectly still.

That was the only paranormal thing I’ve ever personally experienced. I had been living in that room for over 5 years at that point and nothing even remotely out of the ordinary had happened and it never did after that. It was so random and bizarre.
