I (18f) have always struggled with night terrors and sleep paralysis. Since I was a little girl I've had terrible nightmares, those in which I would wake up screaming for my mom and I wouldn't fall asleep without her.
Now that I'm older, I have sleep paralysis about 3-4 times a month. Don't know if thats normal. I have what many call a "sleep paralysis demon". It's mostly a little girl in the corner of my room, she's never done anything, just stares at me.
But, a couple nights ago, I woke up not being able to move at around 1:30 AM. I looked around the room trying to calm myself, telling myself it is a dream. As I looked at the one corner in which said girl is always standing, I expect to see her, but all I see is a tall male like figure looking at me.
At first I tried to stay calm, but then it sprinted towards my bed and as soon as it reached my bed, I sat up striking, fully woken up, panting for air.
I haven't been able to sleep well since then, should I be concerned or just brush it of as a bad nightmare?
