What’s up y’all? Haven’t posted in awhile since my ghost stories from the Philippines but I’m back again after having a dream of an occurrence in Stamford, CT USA at my old job in a skating rink. (There were only 2 rinks in Stamford so guess which one lol)
So first off, I worked at this rink for approximately 5 years. Started off as a skate monitor, to a cashier, hockey coach, and so on. Shifts would vary from around 6AM the earliest, to around 1-2AM the latest (working maintenance when needed)
There were always stories about the rink being haunted. Starting off with the most famous story about this Zamboni driver named Bri who would always open at around 5-6AM to prep the ice for the day. The story goes that Bri opened up the rink and started cutting the ice when he saw a little girl standing on the ice. Bri started yelling at the girl to get off the ice when she vanished into thin air. Bri promptly called his supervisor, Carl (who I worked for) and quit on the spot.
Now, throughout the 5 years I worked at the rink, I’ve felt, seen, and heard countless amounts of stuff. I have seen shadows bolt around the rink, people call my name out when I’m the only one in the whole building, an uneasy feeling while doing maintenance, and so on.
But the scariest moment of all was when I was printing jerseys in what we call “the dungeon” (It was just the basement but it was creepy and outdated with only one light source AND tunnels that are partially covered that lead all under Stamford.) For some odd reason, we had a witch doll on the wall as soon as you enter the dungeon. No one knows who put it there. But one night, as I was printing jerseys for summer camp the next morning, for some odd reason, the lights went out. As I pulled out my phone to turn the flashlight on and was walking to the only set of stairs that led to the Zamboni bay, I heard a child’s whisper/laughter coming from the room I was just in. Needless to say I RAN and as soon as I saw my coworkers, I started to cry. Lol. Thankfully I’ve been away from that place for about 4 years now.
Anyway. I got a ton more stories from the Philippines, to CT, to CA if you guys want to hear more !
