Context:
Back in around 2008 - 2010, my dad and I used to live in an apartment he suspected was haunted.
He was a big fan of ghost hunting shows such as TAPS, if anyone recalls that, and of the realm of paranormal phenomena in general and he made several investigations of his own. This is one of them.
One night, he set up on a pair of tripods, both a camcorder and a canon camera, right outside of his room, looking into the hallway and into the kitchen. The camcorder recorded the entire night in IR light and the camera snapped a photo every 5 minute or so with flash. There was not much out of the ordinary that the camcorder picked up but the camera did pick up something.
The attached picture is the one that caught his attention the most. Towards the bottom-middle section of the picture, we can sort of make out a slight humanoid silhouette, similar to the one of a little boy, probably aged 3 or 4, who seems to be walking in the direction towards the left of the camera and into the living room, behind it.
Prior to my dad's investigation, he had talked to the woman in charge of maintaining the block, she was aged around 60 - 70 at that time. She told him that a family inhabited the apartment many years before we moved in in 2002. They allegedly went on a trip to a town that is quite far away from home (6 hr drive) and had gotten into a fatal accident. This makes me a bit skeptical though, as if ghosts were real, why would they return to their apartment if they lost their lives in a far away place from their home.
Anyway, the picture is nonetheless eerie, and I want to have your thoughts on it.
Picture taken by the camera at 5 minute intervals with flash.
