Mystery of Garfield Phones Washing Up on a French Beach for 30 Years Is Finally Solved – My Modern Meton March 10, 2023 at 4:36 pm THE ANOMALIST

Plastics pollution of Earth's oceans is an enormous problem. A case in point comes from this report of Garfield phones washing up on a beach in France for decades. For thirty years it was a mystery where these plastic orange telephones were coming from. Finally it was determined they were from a shipping container lost in transit, which apparently is a regular occurrence adding to the overall mess we've made of our oceans. Somehow it's not surprising these waters would have Wandering Windows & Disappearing Doorways, Part 2.
