this still gives me chills to this day..
when i was in 5th grade i had my first paranormal experience as long as many of my classmates. our school was known to be haunted for whatever reason as well as the highschool and the middle school. there was a tornado in my city in 1991 before i was born and it was rumored that the body’s were buried all over the city (which probably isn’t true but i just thought i would mention it)
i enrolled in the elementary school because i had moved, my first day was kinda rough i could tell that i probably wouldn’t fit in but i made some great friends towards the end of the school year, we all had our own little friend groups and stayed on separate sides of the playground. but one day, we were all on the playground and one of the students in my class named kyle saw a person wandering around in the woods, he told the teacher but she didn’t believe him, so he started telling everyone of our classmates including myself that he had saw somebody in the woods. now, our school was surrounded by woods sometimes the high schoolers would smoke in the woods.
but this wasn’t the case, it was only a few minutes after kyle told everyone that he saw somebody wandering around in the woods, that the teacher would finally believe him. the look on her face.. you could tell that she had saw something that wasn’t human. you just know that look..
we weren’t aloud on the playground for a couple days after that happened for our safety, so we would have recess in the lunchroom the teachers would bring out board games and snacks at what was supposed to be “recess time”
during recess time this girl named serena walked up to me and asked me if i had saw the person in the woods & i said “no the teacher was trying to get us all in as fast as she could so i didn’t really have time to look” after that she had sat me down & showed me a locket.. i didn’t really know why she was showing me a locket and how it would somehow possibly connect to the conversation until she told me that she knew the “person” outside and that “person” gave her the locket..
serena didn’t really have any friends, she was pretty lonely.. during recess she would always sit by the fence by herself.
a few days after serena had showed me the locket we were finally aloud to go outside for recess, and here comes serena coming towards me with the locket in her hand, she told me she was missing the locket for a day or two and she found it over by the fence with a picture of a girl in it, that looked exactly like the “person” kyle saw..
fast forward to a few months later, all of my classmates are participating in a musical at the highschool, we all sit behind the curtain waiting for our turn in the musical serena, myself, and some others were left behind & for some reason there’s a staircase behind the curtain that leads up to a door and as we are about to go on stage for our role, we see the same girl going up the staircase never to be seen again..
i went to the same district until 10th grade and we were constantly on that stage for many more musicals & for theatre and i never saw that girl again..
