Seeing my dead uncle in the chow hall when I went through basic training in the military../u/Nessa_metal_head

This happened about maybe 5 ago I was maybe 21 years old at the time.. I was young and wanted to sort of see if I can do basic training ( news flash I was sent home before I graduated????) anyways, I was in line with my division waiting to get my food, at that time I wasn't allowed to talk or really look around because of something.. I don't recall what it was exactly.. as I was waiting in line for my food I happen to peak over behind the counter and see my dead uncle.. facial features , skin tone and hair was identical to my uncle. He died from i think liver disease or something like that, mind you he was a drinker always drank a beer in the morning. When I saw the man I went pale and couldn't even speak to the cooks because I was very much spooked. My instructors asked me if I was ok and that I looked paler than normal and I said I was ok. Gotta say that I nearly cried when I saw him because I loved my uncle very much but in all honesty I was more spooked than sad ????
