When I was 11 years old, my dad took me to St. Louis to see my aunt, uncle, cousins, grandma, and grandpa. Me, my dad, my sister, and my brother also came with me. Shortly after getting there, we had to choose sleeping arrangements in my cousins' house. Me and my brother had the whole downstairs to pick from and two blow-up mattresses.
My aunt told us to set up in the downstairs living room down by the stairs, but my brother, wanting it to be more quiet, wanted to go to the unfinished part of the basement to stay in. As he dragged his mattress into the room that looked straight out of the scene of a horror movie. I said,"Good luck, bro." and left. He fell ill after his first night there.
We had a normal day, going to my grandparents house, and then we got back to my cousins' house. I went to go jump on the trampoline in the backyard, and when I did, I got the sense that something was watching me. I turned around and saw two eyes boring down on me from a tree 10 yards away. I scrambled inside and I never went into their backyard sense.
