Unsettling things happening in my dorm/u/Skydrop177

I recently started college and moved into one of the dorm halls on campus. The room I'm in has space for two people where the beds are divided by a wall, and there's also two fairly big sliding closet mirrors facing each other right in the entryway of the door. That alone gives me the creeps.

In the first term of school, everything went by fairly smooth besides the random feeling that I was being watched or that something was about to touch the back of my neck. My desk is right across from the entrance so my back is towards the door most nights while I study, and at night I have to have a light facing it because something about it being in the dark between those mirrors seems wrong. I would see the occasional glimpse of something small out of the corner of my eye but usually just brushed it off as my imagination.

Winter break came around and I went home for the holiday, and the week after I came back for winter term, I went out to dinner with some of my friends. My roommate had also left not long before me to go and get her ears pierced so no one was in the dorm room. When I came back, everything on my desk was turned upside down, water bottles, medication, perfume bottles, my laptop, and even a wooden ancher I painted and put on my wall was hanging upsidedown. I felt absolutely violated because someone had touched my things and due to a tramatic event in my past this particular thing made me spiral emotionally. My roommate was back before me and I asked her if she or one of her friends did it and she seemed just as confused as I was. I still don't know who did it to this day, and it really could have been one of them, but I really don't know.

She recently moved out because we just didn't quite click as roommates and she found a new roommate with common interests as her. Since she's been gone more things have been happening but in milder reactions.

For example, I'll feel like somethings standing in a specific part of the room watching me and it'll feel different at times, sometimes it's like a child stare other times its just something unsettling. I'll be lying in bed and I'll hear what seems like someone sliding off of the other bed (this happened to me last night, I had to get up and check just in case). I'll hear deep breaths as if someones slightly snoring, and my lamp has turned on by itself a few times.I'll even see random shadows out of the corner of my eye. One of the creepiest things that's happened to me so far is when I was folding my laundry and putting them into piles on my bed, I had a really loud thought that said "behind you". I cannot stress enough how unsettled I felt after that.

It sounds stupid but I have like a system that I follow when it gets dark out. The mirror closet doors that face each other have to be completely closed at night, a light has to be shining towards the door. (Mind you I've never been afraid if the dark before), if I open the door connected to the bathroom, I have to shine a light inside untile I can turn on the overhead, ect.

I feel absolutely stupid for talking about this, but I've never been this creeped out about something. That's most of what happens in my room.

Am I just overthinking or is there something wrong with my room?
