Casual ghost responding to my sleep talk./u/Listlessly-lost

To add context before I get into this story my grandma has had experiences in this house the 40+ years she's lived there and I honestly feel like it's nothing malevolent. There's also been news in the small town of this house about the deaths and I'll try looking them up later but considering the things she's experienced I'll just stick to this one story for now.

So about 2 years ago in September of 2020 my grandma had a stroke and needed my mom to go up there to help her for a few weeks while we set up the house for her (my grandma hordes a lot). About a week into this 3 week stay at my grandma's I went through a lot of nostalgia as I had lived there till I was 10.

Late into the night I was on the phone it was around 11pm when I had started falling asleep on the phone with someone that doesn't add much to the story, but I had slowly fallen asleep on the phone with them and didn't realize it was I had thought I was talking to them the entire time. As I had been talking I vividly remember the ghost(?) responding to my apology for falling asleep with a subtly sweet and calm tone "that's okay dear our long talk has been nice." As I heard this I jolted awake and looked at the time. It was 2:14 AM. I quickly looked at the call to see if it had ended and it did but at 12 AM.

I had looked around frantically trying to comprehend what had happened and it just felt weird to think that someone had been talking to me for 2 hours and I was concerned someone had entered the house so I got up to look around but nothing, everyone one else had been asleep since around 9pm so I was completely jostled.

Later that same day after I had gone back to sleep I asked everyone about it and no one was awake at the time. After this I went to talk to my grandma about it and her only response was " Oh you talk to Vivian she was really nice wasn't she? " After that my grandma started to transition to German due to her stroke, after that I just had it on my mind during that trip wondering what would have caused this and I honestly just want to go back just so see if I could try talking again. I just wanted to say my interesting experience that's all.

Tl;Dr Slept talked with a ghost and my grandma apparently knows her very well but couldn't tell me more due to her stroke.
