Hey guys,
I'm quite new here but I was wondering if I could ask your opinions on something that has been bothering me for a long time.
My dog passed away in November last year. The first few weeks after that, I would see him in my dreams. Sometimes laying in a spot, just chilling, other times smiling and wagging his tail walking towards me. I'd pet and cuddle him.
Once, I even had a nightmare about something that did not feel safe at all and even though I did not see him, I heard one guarding bark from him that woke me up from the nightmare. It might be crazy but I always thought that was him protecting me from evil?
Anyways, a few months ago I randomly had this dream where I started crying saying my dog was dead (he was not present in this dream either) and after that I never saw him again.
I've had some strange experiences that made me believe there is more after death than just a blank, but I try to stay objective about it. Somewhere I guess I could explain it as in: Me finally having processed a loss, but it all felt too real and I am wondering if it could be his spirit visiting me before he moved on to (idk) a new life or something?
What do you guys think? Could it really have been my dog or am I highly overthinking this all?
