How often does it happen for people to find paranormal activity in old abandoned houses?/u/ShodaryGoji1998

I had this weird feeling when i was about 13 years old guy (Now about to be 25 in a month) with one of my younger cousins while about to explore an abandoned house right next to the one of my grandparents. One day, we were passing a ball between each other and at the next moment, i turned around towards the basement door creek open a little inwards (note that there was no wind), which made us both bolt out of there. On the next day as we continued our game in a meadow next to the same old house, i had this strange feeling that someone was watching me.

At first, i decided to not pay attention, but at the same time i was curious.. so i turned my attention to the attic window of the house and saw some dark figure with one hand on the window's bottom frame and had a huge creepy grin on it's face, while i just looked at it. Afterwards, i told my cousin about it, but he didn't believe me.

So, what do you guys think what this thing could've been? a demon? some other entity? I'd like to read your opinions!.
