My Sister Disappeared/u/Sorry-Squash8070

Some context: My cats were seperated with one in the attic with me and one downstairs with my family cause they fought and my upstairs cat is now petrified of the other one even being on the same floor. My siblings constantly left the attic door open and the downstairs cat would come up and start problems. My attic is setup where on one side was the staircase leading into an open room, then a short hallway, then the door to my room that took up the rest of the attic.

Anyway, I was in my room (Rule 7) and have a clear line of sight to where the attic stairs are incase someone came up. Then I see my downstairs cat run up and lay on the bed we have in the other room. At this point Im annoyed because Im always telling them not to let her up here, not to leave the door open either. So then my younger sister runs up with a look like "omg they already saw that the cat came up" so I walk into the other room and start going off on her. Not yelling but sternly telling her "Ive already asked you two not to leave the door open and make sure the cat didnt come up so now you have to grab her and take her downstairs because Im not doing it again." She starts whining, "Aw come on Im afraid shes going to scratch me." "Shes not going to scratch you and even if she does thats your problem you wouldnt have to grab her if you had closed the door." "Can't you grab her this time again and then if she comes up again Ill do it." "No! Im tired of doing it."

At this point I turn to my right to look at the cat on the bed but shes not there anymore. I look in my room since my door is still open and my upstairs cat is sitting in the middle of the floor unbothered and watching us bicker, so I assume the cat ran under the bed to avoid being dragged downstairs. I look at my sister again, point to the end of the bed, and say, "Grab the cat." She says "Come onnn, I dont want to get scratched can you PLEASE do it" Im getting more annoyed having to tell her over and over so I yell "You need to grab the cat and take it downstairs right now because I am NOT going to tell you again!" Then this little girl had the audacity to look me right in the eye and giggle, almost laughing, at me but fell by the foot of the bed and layed on the floor to look under the bed for the cat.

Now, where she was was out of my line of sight because it was a tall and wide bed so the mattress blocked her body almost entirely. I stood there waiting, watching my cat still just looking at me from my room and then I realized she was taking way too long and it didnt even sound like she was moving at all to try and reach the cat. I turn back and say, "Hey Steph (not her real name) come on this side and see if you can reach her over here, shes probably by the wall." No answer, no movement, nothing. "Steph get up and check over here you're not going to reach her if-" as Im walking over I noticed there is a green storage container exactly where my sister would've been laying down.

My sister wasnt there, the downstairs cat wasnt there, and my cat was still in my room watching me. I slowly backed into my room and locked the door then proceeded to shut myself in the room till I almost pissed myself because I was too afraid Id see whatever spoke to me again. I eventually did go downstairs to use the bathroom and asked both my father and sisters if any of them went upstairs at all that day but they all said no.

I have never EVER hallucinated before or after this happened (Rule 7) or not. Ive also never experience anything like it since. I know I saw whatever it was, I heard it talk to me, it had an entire conversation with me, then it laughed right in my face.

(Original I posted this on a different sub but thought Id post here for more eyes and opinions on the whole experience. I also added a bit more detail in exchange for the missing info in this post)
