My mom saw a ghost yesterday morning, and I want to know if it could possibly mean anything.
I believe my family is haunted, but this is the first time any of us has physically seen a spirit or ghost or whatever this is. One of our cats died in 2017, and I've felt his spirit with me ever since. However, if this is a thing, I believe our apartment itself is haunted. We moved here in August, and ever since then crazy ass things have been happening.
For some reason, I feel like spirits and ghosts have a stronger presence here. When I was home alone one of the first months we moved here, the shower turned on by itself for 10 seconds, and when I got up to look it turned off.
Now that I have the context and an example out of the way, around/after 7 am on Sunday morning, my mom swears she saw a black, limbless hooded figure hover from our dining room to the living room. I asked if it was me because I was wearing all black and did go in the living room to do something after I woke up, she swears it wasn't me. I was just wondering if we should be concerned because our animals haven't reacted in anyway that would indicate that there was a negative spirit here, but all I see when I look up a black hooded figure is that they're aggressive? I also don't think it was sleep paralysis because she said she turned over and then witnessed the black figure moving. Please help!
