If TL;DR please skip to the bottom. All the above is context that may help, or may not.
I’m now 30(m) but when I was young, specially ages 2 to 4, I had a lot of paranormal experiences. Some that I remember distinctly and some that I do not (my parents told me about them). Candidly, I feel like I’m crazy for believing these are real all these years later - but here I am.
I’m adding some experiences here because maybe they are related to my question in the title. I’ll keep it brief. And yes, I’m am religious - born and raised Catholic.
When I was 2 I told my mom she was pregnant with a girl and the exact date of my sister’s birth. My mom didn’t even know she was pregnant at the time. But my parents didn’t pay any mind to it until my sister was actually born. Afterwards, my mom asked who told me and I told her “it was my angel.”
During the ages of 2-4 I would also have two invisible friends who would tell me things, and these things were always facts I shouldn’t have known. Such as an exact breed of horse that happened to walk by, details of battles/wars long past, and even current events happening with friends or other members of the family. I still will just know things sometimes and I have no idea why - which kills me because I love logic and precision, but this escapes me.
My mom would also catch me talking to “my angel” most nights. Only my voice though, and she said it was always jovial. She would hear footsteps and running around the house at night. I said the angel’s name was Gabriel (you can call BS if you want, that’s what toddler me said according to my mom - I personally don’t recall).
I don’t remember anything from the above experiences. What I do remember are 3 specific occasions:
1) I was screwing around way past my bedtime on the top bunk and fell. I clearly remember the fear and then a blanket of warmth surrounding me and slowly being set onto the floor by an unseen force. I remember thinking I floated to the ground and that it must be because of the Superman PJs (sound toddler logic)
2) My cousin and I are a few months apart and we were wrestling in the pool during a family reunion. He held me underwater and I thought I was going to pass out when I heard a voice say “breathe” under the water. The voice was clear as day. I took a breath of the most crisp fresh air I have ever to this day breathed, and it was underwater.
3) THIS. This experience seemed to end most of my paranormal experiences. I was 4, it was early spring/late winter, and I woke up to pressure on my comforter. I opened my eyes to see what I can only describe as a Wolfman with a dark purple aura emanating off of it. It’s eyes were almost glowing a faint reddish yellow. It was crawling up towards me, reaching out. I’d never been more scared. I hid under the covers and morning seemed to snap into place. Like a time warp to daylight.
A few experiences since, and I’ll share those later but the wolfman / wolf demon sticks out the most. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
