my mom works in a haunted hospital/u/demolitionloverr_

so let me start out by saying this is my moms story. she’s worked in the labor and delivery unit of her hospital for my whole life. she usually works night shifts. my moms hospital doesn’t have a room 13 for obvious reasons. so technically room 14 is actually 13. it’s a large room in the middle of the unit meaning it has no windows. there is a long history of weird things happening in this room. phone calls to the nurse’s station in the middle of the night with gibberish, weird feelings, etc. last night, was my moms first encounter with whatever is haunting this room. my mom was working night shift as usual last night. she was sitting at the nurses station with an older nurse when the pulseoximeter(a device for measuring heart rate and blood oxygen) in room 14 is turned on. at first they thought it was the patient messing with the machines, until the pulse ox starts showing numbers. for seven minutes, it showed a pulse in the low 30s and oxygen at 80%. normal numbers for pulse and oxygen should be in the 70-100 range for pulse and 90-100 for oxygen. whoever was using the machine was in need of medical attention. the older nurse enters the room only to find the pulse ox in its normal place, completely untouched. it’s not out of the question for a ghost or something supernatural to be in that room. after all, many people die in hospitals.
