Someone/something haunting everyone at my home except for me?/u/Gro0by

Yo, so i've been renting a flat for about 2 years now. Previous owner passed away, possibbly in that flat too. The landlord is a sister of that woman, and while disgussing details she was specific only about one thing - her sisters antique furniture piece, i wasnt supposed to move it, and needed to be very carefull with it, so i did, nothing crazy. At the beginning i saw some flashing bulbs, some furniture was opening by itself, or there were keys to the furniture getting lost by themselves, but that's just it, it stopped for me after about a week, but since then, my girlfriends hears, and experiences some weird things, same as my friends, noone is willing to sleep in the "antique room" and claims it feels weird there and as there was someone or something there. My friends that visit me or my girlfriend are seeing objects moving by itself in the kitchen for example and hearing things, but its always when im not there i cant seem to experience it anymore. If something happens IT happens to someone else when i cant see/hear it. Is that thing or person or whatever it could be like protecting me, or what are the other possibilities?
