I've seen this case documented on Haunted Hospitals and stumbled across it again. Apparently some guy was treated at a hospital for a football related injury, he woke up at night, fully conscious and alert, eg, was even able to use the elevator, but the hospital was deserted, in shambles and all the electronic devices didn't work, eg, TV. After the sheer panic he went back to sleep and awoke back to reality where everything was normal.
Was this guy dead? Was he actually a disembodied spirit or ghost roaming in another realm or dimension? If this is what ghosts actually experience---isolation, angst, powerlessness and sadness---it must be a miserable existence.
