Beliefs Should Be Taken Into Account/u/butterflynana8

I have a lot of thoughts on the paranormal, but today there is a certain aspect that I'd like to discuss.

Let us first operate on the assumption that some ghosts are the remaining bits of people who have died, whether the soul or what have you. In that case, we should acknowledge that this person had beliefs in life. Whether a religion, a fear, or whatever other beliefs people hold.

I think then this should be considered when dealing with ghosts. If a person believed in ouija boards as a way to contact ghosts in life, they might then choose to try to interact with the living through a ouija board. Even though it is a board game in origin, it can also be viewed as a tool by many. The same goes for tarot cards, crystal balls, etc.

This should also be considered when consulting with a medium or other spiritual person to deal with ghosts. If a person believed in Catholicism, they might respect Catholic rituals even after death.

Just because a person doesn't believe in a certain thing or idea does not make it inherently invalid.

Please keep this in mind when showing skepticism. A healthy skepticism is good when examining the world around you, but please consider all angles before passing judgement, please.
