Curious to see the stories about Australian paranormal acitivity or strange happenings. I worked in a nursing home in QLD which was built in the 1880’s, and have had my fair share of unexplainable experiences. One day my co-worker and I were dropping a food trolley off to the residents on the top floor wing which you had to access via an elevator. We were standing there waiting for the elevator to come down, which was when all the hallway & room lights started blinging and malfunctioning like crazy, zapping sounds coming from the lights and all, then just stopped after a few seconds. The lights have never malfunctioned like this, ever, so we found it a bit odd and gave eachother a look as if to say “wtf??” but we were like whatever, probably just nothing. We proceeded to drop the trolley off and head back into the elevator and be on our way back, which was when an RN had walked past us and had told us a resident on the top floor wing we were in had actually just passed away, right when those lights started flickering. Maybe just a coincidence, I’m not sure but was definitely odd. My co-workers’ a non believer but she even said it was so strange. That’s just one story. I’m curious to hear about yours.
