My most eerie encounter with a shadow person/u/Forward-Pirate-6781

I have had so many dreams of shadow people, but this particular dream still haunts me... I would say I was 7 years old when I talked my parents into getting me a cat. That cat I chose was from a shelter and had been there most of her life, her name was Jetta, and she had the coolest fur because she appeared to be all black but when you pushed her fur forward it was white... however, since day 1, I believe that since she was in a kennel, most of her life she liked small spaces, which I wish I understood that at that age because I didn't understand or barely seen her... it got to the point where I regretted the cat I chose because it was like not even having a cat at all... but I regrettably ended up bullying her a little, not to a point of tragedy but enough to make me feel a little bad... as I said, she would hide in my closet 99% of the time, and I would peek in on her often, but when I did, she seemed scared... 1 day, I decided to give her a bath because she needed it medically... that's when I found out about her worst fear, hair dryers... I have never seen a cat ready to fight an object in my life, and at the time, I found it amusing... so sometimes I would like to get the hair dryer and pay her a visit in her closet, we'll she finally come out of the closet to stand up in the living room ready for the hair dryer to attack her, I quickly stopped teasing her with it but soon she seemed scared of me... so at that point, I just let her outside because we were kind of in the country, and I wanted her to be normal, 1 day, she never came back, and soon after, I had night terrors of a human like cat that kept peeking on me while on my bed from the closet.
