For context i lived in this three story terrace house until i was around 7 and the house was built in place of an old terminally Ill ward.
But my older sister on the other hand is a skeptic, In fact i wouldn’t even call her that she doesn’t at all belive in the paranormal yet had the weirdest experience in the house. She would get told off for swinging on the banisters on the 2nd floor(3 floors)where her bedroom was while the rest of us were at the top.
Anyway, One night she was lying in bed no the light upstairs turned on and she saw our dad coming down stairs but when it reached the bottom swung around the banister. She was confused and shouted ‘dad’ cus that’s what it looked like. It then faded into a shadow figure turned and sprinted towards her and disappeared before it reached her.
She’s never experienced sleep paralysis and she could move while this was happening. Before this ever happened. My sister when she was around 4 She started telling my mum she couldn’t sleep because ‘that man is there again’ it had been going on for eels so my mum slept in the bed with my sister So she would sleep (my mum was facing the wall and she was facing the wardrobe on the other side of the room). My sister then whispers to my mum ‘he’s back again’ or some creepy shit along then lines. My mum picked her up and carried her upstairs to their room. My mum to this day thinks it was her decided dad who never met my sister reaching out. I don’t think it would be because my sisters and mum both were so scared.
