Hey guys!
I’m an agnostic atheist obsessed with the paranormal, so needless to say, I have some questions I’m hoping you might shed some light on.
I have noticed that religions seem to play a role in the paranormal realm. Anything from hiring a Catholic Priest to blessing or exercising a home, to the notion of demons existing at all. Obviously, I’m a firm believer in ghosts and or entities, because of the sheer amount of proof that’s documented every day. Religion does not have these same types of physical, tangible proof. Because of this, how am I supposed to believe that these two realms are somehow connected?
I have a few theories. One being that ghosts are unexplained, much like the reason for why we are here on this planet. For centuries, humans have always correlated the unexplained to the doings and acts of a God.
The other is repelling spirits with energy. This type of energy can come in many positive forms. One being Sage and a connection to the universe via oneness and or meditation. The other being a person of God, attempting to ban an entity. Both have seemed to at least diminish the activity in some cases. So my point is that spirits or ghosts might be able to dwindle or even disappear with the right type of energy brought to fight it. Doesn’t have to be a priest or a person of God to get it done.
This is where I’m asking all of you for your experiences. Have you ever had to try and get rid of a ghost or a haunting? What methods did you use? Did they work? Etc.
If demons exist wouldn’t that mean that there is a hell for them to be banished to? If there is a hell then there is likely a heaven also right? Accepting that an entity is a legitimate demon would have to also confirm these other notions right?
Which brings me to my next question… Is it really a demon? I have a theory that it might be extra terrestrials being able to tap into our space.
Think about it. There might be a realm or planet with beings so advanced, they can somehow manipulate our physical realm. Having a more broad and sophisticated technological understanding of the universe.
How are people so certain that these evil presences are demons and if they are against God or with the devil?
