This is a bit long but bare with me. There’s local rumors of a church ground way out in the woods that’s supposedly very haunted. The church had been burned down back in like 2015, but the cemetery is still there and dates back to the early 1800s. We went there earlier tonight and upon arriving it felt strange, like going into a different universe. And a lot of snow flurries started falling even though the area I live in does not see snow often. I took several videos on the way there which all came out fine. But the videos I actually took while walking through the cemetery won’t even load in my camera roll. I had service out there because I was still receiving notifications. Only a few pictures will load as well. I even took a voice recording that was 50 seconds long but it stops playing after the first 4 seconds. And the only video that plays which is like a minute or so long freezes the pic and audio after like 15 seconds. My whole phone was being glitchy. My flashlight kept shutting off and my battery percentage went from 33% and then my phone gave the black loading screen like it was powering off or restarting but after, my camera app just came back up with the low battery warning. I tried to take more videos but it would start and stop. Two of the pictures that actually loaded in my camera roll my sister took of me back to back. Same position and lighting. The first one there wasn’t really anything but the second there was like these string things coming from different directions towards me. Almost look like spider webs. I never really got a bad feeling while being there and we only stayed for about an hour reading the headstones and such. On the debris of the church there was a bunch of coins. Growing up, whenever I visit a deceased loved one we always put a coin on the headstone. One of my buddies started touching it wanting to know how much there was and making jokes about taking it. Us girls told him it wasn’t a good idea and that he should leave it alone. As he was still counting it the wind got crazy and the trees were cracking a lot and I got a weird vibe from the nearby tree line which was so think you couldn’t see into. Even with the flashlights we only had a 5-6ft radius of light. It was pitch black everywhere else. I told everyone we should leave and we all agreed. When we got in the car I texted my dad and told him we were leaving but our previous messages were not there. He replied back to me and I didn’t answer until I was off the dirt roads. I had my sister restart my phone and the text I sent to my dad wasn’t there but his reply was. The whole outcome of the situation is the freakiest. The unloaded pictures and videos. And I’m really curious as to what those string-like things are in the picture of me. If anyone has any ideas or theories, it would help to ease my curiosity.
