I’ve been having some weird occurrences happening over the past couple of weeks. Most notably, I’ve been waking up with three sets of scratch marks on my wrists. They aren’t deep by any means and they usually go away within the hour. Also I’ve been getting this constant feeling that I’ve been being followed. That could just be me being paranoid. I don’t know.

I went to look at some abandoned house a few weeks ago and I started having this recurring dream, which was the same every time. It was almost like a creepy pov game where I could hear someone talking to me from behind a window. Not sure if that carries any relevance, so I apologize if that is irrelevant information.

Lately, when my family hasn’t been in the house, I can sense the presence of somebody else. Like I feel like I can hear it moving around the house, but I’m not sure if it’s in my head, or I’m really hearing it.

I’ve been coming home and finding my things have been tampered with. First I find my suitcase open on my bed, when it was in the closet before. I found my bras of all things tangled on the floor, which is new to me. And just yesterday I found one of my old text books with some pages torn out.

My mom and stepdad say that they didn’t know anything about it. They said it was probably stress related due to having to return to school for the upcoming semester. I’m not really against believing that, but it honestly doesn’t seem plausible enough.

The scary part was when I was home this morning, around 330AM, I had just woken up and I could hear something moving around in my stepbrothers old room (it’s right next to the bathroom, which was my next stop). I thought I was hearing things, until I heard what sounded like drawers being open. I won’t lie, I’m very timid, and I had no interest in investigating. But then I heard:

“Katy?”

It sounded like me. I can barely even type this without getting goosebumps. Even typing, I have to constantly scan my surroundings.

“Yeah.” I said.

“You’re not Katy. I’m Katy.”

It started giggling. I started screaming. My mom ran downstairs and started panicking. My stepdad went into the room to see what was going on, but didn’t find anything. He convinced me that I was only having a bad dream, or I was sleep walking. I assure you this wasn’t the case. I haven’t been to sleep since. After that happened, I crawled into bed, made sure my feet didn’t hang off the mattress, and had Friends playing on tv until the sun came up. Tonight I’m staying over at someone’s house because I’m too afraid to be alone. Can anybody help fill me in on what this can be? Better yet, how do I make it stop? Please be nice. I’m really scared.
