I have a 2022 Honda Civic and I drive using the cruise control more than not. My commute to work is about 20 miles with about 15 of that being 60mph country roads. There is a 2 mile stretch where my car regularly senses a motorcycle in front of me, sometimes even going so far as to intensely brake, when no motorcycle is there. It has happened 10 out of the 40 days I have gone to work. I’ve been paying attention to weather conditions, traffic conditions, wildlife, etc but there’s no pattern – except for it always being the same stretch of road. I drive with cruise control all over the county and this only happens right there. Has anyone else had something like this happen or have a technical reason behind my car doing this?
