This was brought about by the jackalope post that keeps getting upvoted (why???). I wish there was an option to actually type out a report to the mods. The report feature doesn’t let you type anything, you have to choose from a pre selected list of reasons which I think is really limiting. IMO, posts like that do not belong on this sub. It was only ever a talltale. When people see stuff like this it just reinforces the view that cryptozoology is bogus and not a legitimate field. It only damages us and the animals we are trying to discover and protect. This is like saying the hodag or the squonk or hoopsnake are legitimate cryptids. They ARE NOT.
