I don’t get drunk very often, and due to my high tolerance it takes a lot, but when I do, something strange happens. I feel like my entire body feels like it’s buzzing and I feel like the world appears concaved. My field of vision widens and I visualize the walls of the room I’m in unfolding, revealing space. I then feel like I’m moving slowly on a huge wheel, I’m on the inner part of a wheel as big as the Earth floating in space, stars around me, and there’s something indescribable in the very center of the wheel. I feel as if this great form may even be powering the wheel. A pulsating black sphere, electrified and with a pull that draws I can feel intensely, I feel weightless in space, yet pulled along on this great wheel, and also there’s the mighty black sphere with it’s seemingly all-reaching power, whose force I also feel. While experiencing this and visualizing that black center of the wheel, I feel euphoria, wonder, awe, and terror. Then I fall asleep. I can’t seem to “get drunk” like other people seem to, for me there’s just sobriety, slight buzzing, or this bizarreness. This same experience has happened several times over the past year and a half when I started drinking at 21 (currently 23).
